B Everything was wonderful. The people, the food, the sceneries.I loved it all. But I was impressed by the Chinese language.

B Well, how about Nihao and Xiexie?

嗯，我會(huì)說(shuō)“你好”和“謝謝”．

A Let me guess. You mean nice to meet you?

我猜你的意思是--很高興見(jiàn)到你”。

B Oh. not exactly. Nihao means hello in English while Xiexie, means thank you.

不完全正確，‘你好’就是英語(yǔ)里的‘hello”而“謝謝’就是‘thank you’．

A Wow. Can you say something else? How about a longer sentence?

哇，你還會(huì)說(shuō)什么？能說(shuō)個(gè)長(zhǎng)點(diǎn)的句子嗎？

B Well, to be honest that's all I'm able to remember now. The Chinese pronunciation is very difficult than English !

哦，老實(shí)說(shuō)，我只記得這些了．漢語(yǔ)的發(fā)音和比英語(yǔ)的難多了。

A It certainly is.

B Oh, Katherine, I've bought you a gift from China.
